Appreciate Life!

I believe that one of the biggest motivators in my life is appreciating everything around me.  My family, friends, work colleagues and the thousands of people I meet traveling the world.  Not a day goes by that I don’t wake up thankful for what my life is all about.

Simply stated, I love life and even through the toughest moments I have learned that the ‘show must go on.’  That show is MY LIFE!

A lack of appreciation causes people to become entitled and arrogant.  In business this attitude will destroy your future.  Taking customers for granted, not thinking like an owner and jumping from job to job will never allow you to have the appreciation you need to live your best life.  There are people that feel the world owes them something.  Well I have news for you – no one owes you anything.  You earn it.

Don’t let arguments get in your way.  Don’t allow disagreements separate you from others, or differences in opinions, drive a wedge between you and the other person.  Life is not always a walk in the park.  There are issues that need to be dealt with, and when you appreciate others, you will put in the time, energy, and heart, to get to the root cause of anything that comes your way.

No appreciation means that you don’t care and therefore will not give the emotion to make things better.

Find appreciation this week in everything you do and everyone you touch.  XO

Say Goodbye to Winter!

Traditionally we have celebrated the first day of spring on March 21st, but this year the spring season starts one day earlier on March 20th in all time zones in North America.  So, who says that it should be one day earlier?  I investigated it as I am a curious individual.

Apparently, the earth’s elliptical orbit is changing its orientation, which causes the earth’s axis to constantly point in a different direction.  Since the seasons are defined as beginning at strict 90-degree intervals, these changes effect the time the earth reaches each 90-degree location in its orbit around the sun.  WOW!  Lots of information but interesting.

Since I am not the scientific type I decided to write about how I feel regarding saying goodbye to winter and hello SPRING!  Check out how many days are in each season – warm weather lovers should be happy!

So here is a checklist to make sure you are leaving winter behind with all your inspirational to-do’s taken care of.  You will also note that there are approximately 93 days in spring, so get ready to take advantage of this new season.

The last 3 months I have talked about goal setting, starting off the new year with inspiration and ideas that would put you ahead in 2019.  Here is my reminder:

1.     Are your goals and dreams written down for 2019?  How are you doing?

2.     What are the top 10 things that make you most happy?  How will you capitalize on those in the spring?

3.     What do you treasure most?  Are you making time for that?

4.     If you had a song that represented your life, what would it be?

5.     Call the people that brighten your day and thank them for being in it.

We have already sprung forward with our clocks, now let’s spring forward with our life and get ready to set the goals for the next 3 months.

Love Life So You Can Live Life!

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of working with a group of excited, young and enthusiastic team of sales professionals who thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the time we spent together.  We are fortunate that Master Connection Associates delivers education and enthusiasm everywhere we go, and our results show it.  But there is often at least one person in a large group that has the face that says, “I don’t like my life.”  Yesterday, not one person had that face!

At the end of the first day Brittany Malestein came up to me and gave me my new tag line.  Thank you Brittany and you get all the credit.  She said to me how excited she was to come to our session, and how she had heard so many great things about MCA, and our training.   Her zest for life, her engagement in the classroom and ability to learn and participate in role plays, with the best attitude ever, reminded me of how I have always lived my life.

I believe that you get out of life, what you put in to it, and I always try and give each day 150%.  Even on those days when life throws lemons at me, that can not be made into lemonade, I try to face the issues. Therefore, when I lay my head on my pillow that night, I am ready to take on tomorrow.

I know I am not the only person in my company, family, or among my friends that gives 150% - they all do, and we encourage the support of each other to push through the tough times.  We are MCA and we deliver results.  PERIOD.

There are copycats out there that have tried to imitate our content and style but fail.  There is only one original and our new tagline from Brittany says it all.

“Personally Relaxing, Professionally Refreshing”

Thank you, Brittany, for reminding us to continue to do what we love, and live this life to the fullest!

Keep It Simple!

Simplicity is a big thought, yet it should be something that we just have in our DNA.  Fancy words, and near-incomprehensibility can confuse any of us daily.  Why do we make life so difficult?  Why do we try and confuse an issue with round about conversations?  Being simple does not mean you are not intelligent, it ‘simply’ means you like to get to the truth and result faster, than those that like to complicate every conversation.

We need to be mature enough to pick up ideas and thoughts from others without disguising it more than it is.  We need to not be afraid to ask questions that get right to the truth of the matter without fear of feeling ‘stupid’ for asking the question.

We need to be sophisticated enough not to reject someone else’s truth or idea because it sounds like something we already know.  Being a ‘know-it-all’ has never been attractive, and it complicates every conversation.  You can’t possibly be a subject matter expert in all areas, so try and get real this week and keep it simple.

There are different kinds of simplicity and each type is a gift.  Conversations come and go, jobs come and go but the memory of how you come across will last forever.  The way you express yourself can be different in every situation but try and find a way to simplify your conversation.  You don’t have to be the smartest person in the room every time!

It Is Never About Luck, Until It IS!

This week Lefty and I traveled around the country, making sales presentations to new potential clients.  We work hard for our money and never take one minute for granted.  We have always said that it is never about luck – it is about hard work.

Well last night that changed (for a moment in time).  Throughout the entire week we stayed in a different hotel room every night from Sunday, until Friday.  Each hotel room had the same last 2 numbers.  Floor 7 XX, floor 3 XX, and so forth.  I am not going to share the last two numbers with you as they are ‘our’ new lucky numbers.  This same 2-digit numbers showed up in restaurant bills, Uber fees, and even on the clock.

So last night I was working in Las Vegas and shared my story with the group I was with.  At the end of the dinner we decided to try my luck with my ‘lucky numbers.’  We headed to the roulette table and I put down $100.00 on my lucky 2-digit number.  Everyone, including people we didn’t even know stood around while the dealer spun the wheel.  Without hesitation, the wheel stopped right on my number.  I picked up my $800.00 in chips, watched the dealer spin again, and my 2-digit number landed again!

Since I am not a gambler, I was blown away.  People who I didn’t even know were jumping for joy at my win.  For a moment, I thought to myself – this is so unbelievable that people in a casino are so excited for your win, when they are not winning themselves.

This made me realize that we all need to get more excited about the wins of those around us!  We may not be winning at this time, but don’t rain on the parade of those who are winning.

Here is to a lucky weekend!

Simple Acts of Kindness

kaite bissinComment

As you wrap up this week, consider how you might have made a difference, in someone else’s life.  Of coarse, Valentines Day was yesterday, and everyone was sending love notes. However, did you think about the person you rarely talk to, or the colleague that may march to the beat of a different drum? Maybe there is a family member you haven’t seen in a while.  Changing someone else’s day in a positive way, does not always involve a monumental adjustment on your part. Making a difference can be a simple act of kindness during repetitive day to day activities as well.  Holding the elevator for someone who is running to catch it, opening up a door for a stranger, or simply getting your co-worker a cup of coffee.  This weekend take some time to reflect on how you could improve your value on the world, and how you can better impact the lives of others around you.  Reach out and touch someone, you will feel better in the long run!

Plan Your Life, So You Can Love Your Life!

Many of you know that last May I was the Commencement Speaker for Frankfort High School’s graduating class in Frankfort, Michigan.  I loved every minute of the day.  At the end of my speech, I gave the graduates a challenge for setting goals.  The winner will receive 2 round trip tickets anywhere in the continental United States.

What is amazing is that out of all the graduates, only a handful reached out to me, and now as we are closing in on the deadline only 4 are in the running.

So, what happened to the rest that decided it was too hard to plan out their goals?  The same reaction  is displayed by so many adults I work with.  Everyone wants the grand life, but few want to do the heavy lifting and preparation it takes, as well as the drive to complete the job.

Do you want a life you love?  Most of you will say YES!  Those that say no, can call me later for counseling.  If you want the life you LOVE, I will share with you, my “big picture” planning strategy.

The first step is to dream big.  What are the top 10 goals you would like to achieve in your life – big stuff.  Examples of this are:

1.       Buy a country estate

2.       Get my master’s degree

3.       Get married

4.       Travel to Europe for one month

5.       Start my own business

6.       Own a vacation home

7.       Increase your personal financial base by X%

8.       Plan to retire by X

9.       Take off for 6 months to volunteer

10.   Improve my health by X

Once you list your top ten, rate them in order of importance in your life.  What do you want first and so on?  Once you rate your goals, now you begin your planning.

Start with breaking down the long-term goals into monthly goals and then into weekly/daily.  You need to revisit these goals every month, to make sure you are putting things in motion to live the life you want.

Keep in mind that while planning for big picture goals, life goes on.  All day to day activities in your personal and professional life must also be planned and organized.  The key is to NOT take your eye off the goal and keep planning actions that support those goals!

Enjoy the ride my friends!

I am not just a dreamer – I am a dream chaser!

Dare to dream! I do not just dare, I try to live the dream.  I am so fortunate that I grew up with parents that taught me to dream big, push the envelope, and never settle.  That foundation gave me the ability to go after whatever I wanted to do.  Some things turned out better than others.

Fantasizing about what you want in life gives people direction, it allows them to paint the picture of what could be.  The only problem with this is when your fantasies become your goal without any action.

We have just one life to live and live it, we must.  However, the caveat is to plan the foundation, to catch the dream.  Fantasize all day long – does nothing productive and and wastes too much pf your precious time.

So, here are my tips for living my dream!

1.       I look for the pleasures in life and not necessarily the comfort.  One day I am flying in first class and the flight attendants are rude, and the next day I am in coach, being served like a queen.  Don’t under estimate pleasure vs. comfort!

2.       Life is way too short.  Yes, I talk to my parents every day because I know there will be a day, I wish they were still with me to talk.  Yes, the last person I speak to at night is Lefty, to remind him how much I love him, regardless that I am 1000 miles away.

3.       I read like crazy – it helps me dream.

4.       Because of Lefty, I have learned to control my money before it controls me.

5.       You can have all the money in the world and still be an asshole!  I would rather be broke!

6.       I work on my dreams and practice every single day to get better and better.

7.       My time is precious.  I won’t allow anyone to make their procrastination become my emergency.

8.       I wake up earlier than I used to, so I can focus on the day – it makes my dreams come true.

9.       To catch my dreams, I have to build my confidence.

10.   I will not get to my dreams overnight – I am patient, and I am kind.  In the end I will live my dream.

When we think about works in a relationship, whether it is a marriage, a friendship, a business partner, a team member, or a family member, what do you think of first?  In my experience, what seems to define the status of that relationship, is the idea that there is an equal “give and take” from both parties.  There is a balance of opposite strengths and weaknesses.  The better that communication is, of how one helps meet the needs of the other, is truly what develops a stable, and successful union.  This is the most primal example of collaboration.  To collaborate means that you honestly have to let go of the pieces of your ego, that encourage you to make every decision by yourself.  It is a combination of having your own personal humility, combined with the trust, that your collaborative partner, will put the equal amount of energy into a project, that you would ultimately do on your own.  The benefit of this, is that two brains and two sets of ideas or feelings, can coincide to create one monumental vision!  As a business owner, understanding this notion, and consistently incorporating it in my every day life, with my team mates at MCA, has proven to not only elevate the progress of our business, but it has greatly affected our interactions with Clients.  People support people, who support each other.   Business is not always about competition, and if you focus mainly on that, you will lose sight of the actual vision itself, and become attracted to the negative, when you should ultimately be focusing on what is positive for those you work with, and just as importantly, those you work for.  Collaboration is key and is the most valuable practice to ensure success, understanding, and taking your business to the next level.

Success is a Commitment

I am sitting in Paris writing this blog today.  I am working with an incredible and innovative start up company, that is disrupting their world of business.  Due to the fun, creative and innovative energy, I am surrounded with, I  realize that what I have always based success on, is so valid no matter where in the world I am.

Success is a choice you make.  YES or NO!  Everything you do in life has consequences and you have to be ready to commit.  Do you have the stamina to stay the course?  Do you have the guts to challenge the status quo?  Do you have the energy to shape your destiny?

The answers to these questions will guide you to success.   Remember the analogy of the middle of the road – if you stand in it too long you can get run over.  Make a decision and get in the lane that will lead you to success.  Make a decision, take a stance and change your direction so that you will earn the success you deserve.

Follow these steps and make the changes necessary to achieve your dreams:

1.       Have a clear vision of what you want and why you want it

2.       What will success look like to you – personally and professionally

3.       Don’t copy everyone else – make your own path

4.       Learn how to fast track your plans

5.       Live your values and principles and don’t let go of them

Stop Hitting the Snooze Button!

We are only 11 days into the new year and already I am hearing from people that they are tired, stressed and struggling with getting back to work.  Nothing can be a buzz kill for the new year and your new goals than getting stuck within the first 11 days.

Everyone deals with issues that make you want to pull the covers over your head, hit the snooze button and go back to bed.  Believe me, I have those days too, but I am never able to do that.  As a speaker, trainer, consultant and coach, I have clients waiting for me.  I simply can’t call in sick, as others can do.

So here is my caffeine boost for you this week!

1.       Positive mental attitude - stop looking at stress as negative and look at it as, “I am busy and that is a good thing.’

2.       Be more proactive - Don’t wait for the appliance to break – look at the maintenance options for everything you own and get the paper work in order.

3.       Turn the lights on and get out of the dark places.

4.       Wake up to sunshine if possible.

5.       Get competitive with yourself – give yourself small challenges weekly instead of big hairy, audacious goals that overwhelm you.

6.       Get physical – exercise a bit more – you don’t have to be drastic but get out and walk.

7.       Sing in the shower.

8.       Try to turn off all technology for 10 minutes and just breathe.

9.       Drink at least 2 liters of water each day.

10.   Stop letting social media make you crazy.

Focusing on a positive outlook of the future will help you achieve your goals, live the life you want, and learn how to handle the speed bumps by just slowing down once in a while.

Let’s make the next 11 days of January become the best!

In 2019 Become Unstoppable!

Don’t wait for an apology, don’t wait for explanations and don’t expect anyone to make you successful.  It is all up to you!  Let that acceptance empower you!

As we kick off 2019, everyone needs to pay close attention to the individuals in your inner circle, who you should be avoiding, and who you should confront.  Don’t let one day of this month go by without taking the appropriate action to get your life on target and to get all of your thoughts organized.

Everyone I know (including me) gets a new planner for the year.  I love my Ink & Volt, and as I began to write my goals down, I realized that I had built up angst bottled inside my thoughts.   Several disappointing things happened over this past year.  Although professionally speaking, this has been a great year, I struggled with some people in our life, both personally, and professionally.  When life is busy and I’m constantly traveling, it can become hectic.  Often, I move on to the next thing, and forget to take time I need to really process how I feel.  I needed to reflect on what they had done, what I could have done differently, and how I will handle these situations in the future.  There are always important things we can learn from experiences that are not so pleasant.

So, in my new Ink & Volt planner I had to answer the following questions and you may want to answer them as well.

1.       What is my 2019 theme?

2.       What do I want to leave behind from 2018?

3.       What do I want to make sure I do for 2019 that I didn’t do for 2018?

Take some time and answer these questions.  It is imperative that you discuss them with those in you close inner circle, both professionally and personally.  If you want to make things happen this year, you need to be unstoppable!

Too Much of a Good Thing IS a Good Thing

Years ago I read Sarah Ban Breathnach’s book ‘Simple Abundance .’   I loved the book in which each day you focused on what is important and what is not.  I made the mistake of giving it to a person who worked for me at the time.  Why would that be a mistake?  Read on!!

This colleague was a new mom and didn’t agree with my thoughts on raising our daughter with us on the road.  After reading the book she called me and resigned to stay at home with her child.  Her choice.  No problem.

Fast forward - the money runs out, there are sacrifices in which no one really wants and after a year you have two working parents.

So why am I sharing this. Because several years later Sarah Ban Breathnach came out with a new book after many years of no new material.  This book is called ‘Peace and Plenty ‘ - Finding your path to financial serenity.  Since I loved Sarah’s writing, I immediately bought her new book and binged read it!!!

WOW.  It was her personal story of how her husband, who she trusted and ran her business had stolen everything and left her with little to nothing.

Anyone who knows me and Lefty will tell you that we have a wonderful life together and we are partners in our personal and professional lives.  We have trust, but it comes from open and honest transparency.

We want it all and we will work together to achieve our goals.  We think it, dream it, visualize it, talk about it, strategize about it, plan it and make it happen-TOGETHER!!

We believe you can have it all if you are willing to fight for it. I thank Sarah for her words of wisdom to remind me every day not to sit back and rely on someone else to be in charge of my destiny!

Get ready to kick off 2019 with the guts to make tough choices because you can have your cake and eat it too.

See you in the new year. XOXO

As the last work week before Christmas comes to a close, I want to acknowledge the strength and dedication of our MCA team.  I hope that all of you out there can relate to the feelings I have as I reflect on the year.  I am truly grateful for this unit of people who have become so much more than employees and co-workers.  This year, we have all worked so hard and truly did our best to uphold the integrity of this company even though there has been difficult obstacles and unforeseen circumstances that have been challenging.  Let’s go into the New Year learning from all the good and not so good experiences we have gone through together.  We have experienced loss, triumphs, hardships, long hour days and a million laughs in between.  We came out of all these situations, as a tight knit group, and more of a family than ever!  There is so much support and understanding from every single one of the “employees” here at MCA.  Wishing you and your families a beautiful and relaxing holiday, with all the love in the world! Merry Christmas!!!!

Are you willing to stop asking how much your friends love you, and ask yourself whether you love them enough? Then you can keep Christmas.” - Henry Van Dyke | 1852 - 1933 American writer & diplomat

Sales People Don’t Close

leadership, coachingcindynovotnyComment

Most Sales People Don’t Have Guts to Ask for the Business!

Recent studies show that 64% of most sales people don’t close the business they go after.  Why? There are several reasons.

1. They are order takers and aren’t hungry enough

2. They don’t plan the sales call properly

3. They like to listen to themselves and ignore buying signals (positive and negative)

4. They don’t practice asking for commitment

Is this you?  Stop hiding in the corner.  If it is you, we can help build your confidence and give you the skills, attitude and knowledge to increase your closing conversion.  Make no mistake about it.  You either bring home the money or you don’t.

I live by this quote from Frank Robinson from 1973….

“Close doesn’t count except in horseshoes and hand grenades.”  This quote first appeared in Time magazine July 31, 1973.  This is life – you only get one shot at greatness, so go for it!

If you sell for a living, you need to understand that every day that passes where you did not get the sale, you have to sell twice as much the next day.  There is no slacking off, taking time off or sulking.  You must make the sale, or you cannot survive in the competitive nature of business.

At Master Connection Associates, we pride ourselves in closing 92% of all business we go after.  Let us help you.

Stay Connected!

I just returned from Cabo, attending the epic Engage!!  I have been a speaker at 24 Engage Events. Every single one of the attendees is different, unique and beyond comparison.  The exchange of ideas, dreams, and passions, are overwhelmingly meaningful.  The more we share, the more innovation and creative thinking we bring out into the world because it is contagious!

As I flew home last night, I reflected on all the new individuals I met, all the friends I connected with, and the amazing ability to stay in touch via technology.  While so many people suggest banning mobile phones in meetings, Engage encourages posting, note taking, picture taking and corresponding, via your Instagram name tag.

This type of instant connection allows everyone to follow up as they promised, find people they want to talk to and then remember all the incredible moments by browsing your social media stories.

Technology is our friend.  Technology should save us time.  Technology should keep us organized and technology should be relevant.

If you are not utilizing your resources that are supported by your CRM, social media and your mobile devices, get going.  Technology created the instant gratification that social media provides and it is absolutely necessary for your business to grow in the future.

There is never a better time than the holidays, to use all the help you can.

Enjoy your weekend!!!

No One Flies Solo!

Independent Contractors (IC’s), entrepreneurs, freelancers, and others that find themselves working in a ‘co’ office space, where you independently do your job can be missing out on some very valuable tools. Coaching, mentoring, feedback, strategic planning and other key elements are all necessities that help you grow as an individual.

Recently I have been asked to do more one-on-one coaching with IC’s and those that work independently.  Many are having difficulty staying relevant, re-inventing themselves and working on areas of weakness because they don’t have a leader or a team of people around them to coach and mentor them.

I know as a business owner I would not be where I am today without my team that provides me all the feedback I need, new ideas, status quo challenges and areas we need to focus on to stay relevant.  So, who gives you this valuable support?  If you are not getting enough feedback, how are you growing?

Being on your own has many benefits, but there are hurdles.  You need to create a circle of support that can assist you in your growth.  Here are a few ideas to help you jump the hurdles and move into 2019, with a personal plan to improve the you of today, in order to make way for an incredible tomorrow.

  • Find 2 mentors in your industry that you admire, trust and who are very successful.  Ask if you could put them on your personal board of directors

  • Find 2 mentors outside of your industry and ask the same of them

  • Find a few independent contractors or freelancers that also work on their own and create a plan to work together one day a week in either of your offices or a ‘co’ working space.  This will give you some energy of bouncing ideas off each other and pushing you out of your comfort zone

  • Read one book a month on various topics

  • Attend one workshop, seminar or conference per quarter that will help you in your business

  • Ask for feedback on your website, newsletters, blogs, social media and proposals from one of your mentors

  • Create one new line of business for 2019

  • Take one trip every quarter to explore new ideas

  • Plan 2 hours weekly to just ‘think’

  • Set your goals for 2019 this week and have one of your mentors give you feedback and have them challenge you

Mentoring is a brain to pick, an ear to listen, and a push in the right direction….Cindy

Moving Forward

One of the most challenging obstacles in life, is learning how to move forward after significant loss or conflict that we all inevitably encounter.  Losing loved ones, and attempting to go on with life in the same manner as we used to, just doesn’t seem possible.  To make those instances even more difficult, we all deal with grief in a very unique way.  It is an extremely personal and intimate process and often we would never know how our reaction to such a crisis would be, until we are forced to go through that actual grieving process.  I have found that ‘moving on’ is not an option because our hearts, make that impossible.  What I have discovered, is that slowly, over time, we can move forward.  The thing about loss, is that it teaches us how precious life truly is.  It reinforces the love and the bond of family, friends, and those that we hold close.  Maybe moving forward is the best thing we can do in order to process grief.  Bringing a piece of those with us, that we have lost along the way, is what saves us.  I don’t feel that it’s possible to lose the relationship with a loved one who has passed.  I believe the relationship only changes, it transforms.  This is similar to the pain we feel….does it ever go away?  I don’t think it can, but it does become different, it changes, and morphs into something we can bare, something to reflect on, because that feeling is what reminds us of the love we were fortunate enough to share with that person.  It reminds us, we are alive, and we are moving forward, carrying them with us, every single day, in our hearts.

Think Before You Act!

This week my quote on Thursday got a great deal of attention.  I have never received more emails, texts and phone calls about the subject of trust, loyalty and professionalism.  So, it seems, I am onto something.

I have always been very clear about my expectations of people on my team, my family and friends.  Just be open, honest and trustworthy.  How hard can that be?  However, I also have learned over the years that trying to play by my rules, doesn’t often apply to others.  People will act in a way that suits them, and it won’t make one bit of difference, how it makes others feel.

I am softening though!  My mantra used to be, “don’t get angry, get even!”  Now, I am just creating my boundaries that will allow me to only live my life with those who share my values of honesty, trust and openness. You don’t have to agree with me to be in my circle, in fact, I love a good debate.  These attributes will always remain a constant for those I surround myself with, you need to be open and honest.  I am amazed at how challenging this is for some people.

As you get ready to move into a hectic holiday season where work and personal lives collide, remember how to stay cool, know your boundaries, and learn how to deal with frustration and anger.

In business, I learned long ago, that when a deal suddenly falls through, or an associate doesn’t handle something correctly, I shouldn’t get angry or indignant. I try not to blow off steam and instead, step in to save the ship, if the ship is sinking.

Keep your cool. Remember, you have the right to ask questions, you have the right to share your concerns and you do have the right to part ways with those that don’t live your core company values.

When bringing on new team members, it is important to understand what motivates them. Create a ‘quid pro quo’ sheet. List what they want on one side, and on the other the side, list what you need from them. If one party doesn’t live up to the agreement, then we all get to move on, without drama. It is what it is!

A New Way to Clean

As we enter the month of November, we are approaching the end of the year, which brings the excitement of a new beginning, a fresh start.  Everyone loves the idea of starting anew, however, not everyone takes the steps to truly make that possible.  Whether your last 365 days was unapologetically flawless, or maybe, you would wish nothing more than to wipe your hands clean of it, holding on to the past only clutters your future.  Yes, I literally mean “clutter” but even more importantly, you must rid yourself of emotional baggage, less than savory experiences, and vow to yourself that you will purge those old ideals, expectations and standards!

As you start making your to do lists which may include, raking the leaves and cleaning out closets, put down long term goals and dreams that you still want to accomplish.   Don’t just focus on the activities of cleansing your surroundings and getting rid of tangible items.  Jot those dreams down!  Dare to put it in writing and let the manifesting begin!  Sometimes, when we let a thought out of our mind, and onto paper, it becomes real.  Your dreams and aspirations, don’t have to be a fantasy.  Purge the idea that a dream, can’t be a reality.  If you are reading this, and your previous year truly was fantastic, you may think, “there was nothing I would have done differently.”  If that is your thought, consider this, you don’t necessarily need to find something wrong with the past year, in order to make the next one, more incredible.  Pinpoint what worked, why you would do it again, and how you can apply it to other scenarios in the future that you haven’t thought of.  WRITE IT DOWN!  There is always room for improvement and growth, not because you need to be a “different” you.   Instead, plan to be a “better” you.
